My Patrol is now 9 years and 2 months old, and has done 172 500km.
It has now suddenly developed The Wobble of Death. We had the third occurrence this weekend. I have experienced that it happens at any speed from 80km/h upwards. The slightest imperfection on the road surface could suddenly, unexpectedly (it does not happen often, like the Perfect Storm) and violently throw the front wheels into a wobble of imminent death, measurable on the Richter scale. It feels like the car is going to self destruct, like a chopper that lost a rotor blade in mid flight. I had to wash my youngest one's breakfast from the rear window afterwards. We were on our way to a wedding in the Free state, and my teenage daughter had to change undies at the church

Point is, it has to be sorted out...
It is not possible to accelerate out of the wobble. Taking my foot off the accelerator also does not help. The only way out is to hold the steering wheel very tight and straight, and brake forcefully. Applying the brakes forcefully feels like it not only serves to lower speed, but also to positively kill the wobble.
I have read a lot on the subject and everything supports what is said in the first posts.
My question: who would you recommend in Pretoria that is dependable and knowledgeable and will go through the trial and error process to sort out my beloved friend?
