If it was boxed in, it will not tear.... Its because of flexing that it developed a crack...

Do agree with Brosdoring, add some gussets and it will work fine. Just not enough support on the inside.

I have a similar burnco bumper!!! I will check how mine is put together, I assume mine is older than this one so unlikely to be an improvement.

Steve, it is now on my 4.8 it was a simple cutting some steel and welding it in to make it more ridget! Only problem now is I can only make use of the right swing away spare wheel holder the left one will not close with my door mounted ladder

Imho i dont want to swing a wheel or stuff out the way before i get access to my car prefer the one swing arm
