I am also waiting for results from Sunday!
What I do know is that Bridgestone leveled the playing field for the final. When our team arrived at Gerotek on Saturday afternoon (to prepare our obstacle for Sunday), we were informed by Daniel Barbosa that none of the vehicles we came with would be allowed in the competition. He had arranged the same vehicles for each & every obstacle so that the drivers did not have the advantage of driving a vehicle they had modified and/or knew.
Our obstacle was to be driven by a Navara, so I presume the other obstacles may also have had a vehicle from "their" manufacturer? What was done with the vendor agnostic teams (such as 4x4 Community, 4x4 ATV, etc.) I do not know...
I was unable to drive our obstacle with my vehicle, as the Patrol was too wide, the turning circle too big (and I am a useless driver). It was j-u-s-t possible to do with a Hardbody and Pathy, though...
