Guys,
Just finished replacing the head gasket after a wrong diagnosis, so nothing wrong with the head. Well after two days are everything back together and has just started up. Everything is fine, but it sounds like the valve sequence is out as there is a clicking sound with every cycle. What I would like to know is the following:
The valves (intake and exhuast) were set at 0.2mm cold on the sequence 1,2,3,6,7,10 with No 1 Piston at TDC and then the reverse with no 6 piston at TDC. This is presuming No 1 cylinder is at the front of the car. Is this correct, any suggestions?

Re: Noise from engine
Thanks Tinus,
It was a push rod that slipped passed the rocker, everything back and engine running smoothly.
