Power Window motor - where to get?
Good morning!
My front passenger side power windows motor seems to be running hard and I would like to replace it.
The assembly is running nice and easy, it has to be the motor.
Is there any source where I can get a new one, including the drive gear for the regulator?
I have a feeling that you can't get them from Nissan anymore, so a different company would be highly appreciated.
The original part number seems to be 80731VB011 replaced by 80731VD21A.
Best regards,
Florian

Lubricate the groove in the door surround using silicone spray. It gets tight after a while

Re: Power Window motor - where to get?
Hi Spike,
thanks for the reply.
I did lubricate everything: the glas-run-rubbers, even the regulator assy itself which was running easily before.
Moved by hand the window also slides easily, so it should be the motor.

Re: Power Window motor - where to get?
Check the voltage at motor. It could also be the contacts on the switch that have burned and the motor isn't seeing a full 12v

Re: Power Window motor - where to get?
I have cleaned the switches already with just a bit better results.
My idea (but I might be wrong, that‘s how I try to explain the issue) is, that the motor is running not so easy anymore and therefore more current flows through the switches which makes them loose their good contact.
But in the end a tough running and therefore power consuming motor will only make it worse.
I‘ll try to build something that I can put direct battery-power to the motor an see wether it is better then.
It‘ll just take some time before I will be able to do that, will post an update then.
Thanks for your help!

Yeah on my Patrol, its only the drivers side switches that works for the other windows, not the passenger or the rear door switches work. Only the central console

Florian, you don't need to build anything.Florian320 wrote: ↑14 Jul 2022 12:26 I‘ll try to build something that I can put direct battery-power to the motor an see wether it is better then.

Take off the door card, un-plug the motor and using a piece of twin flex cord connect it directly to thd battery. Swopping polarity changes the direction.

Where abouts are you based? If you're close to Randburg, you're welcome to come see me and I'll check what's wrong for you.
