I've test driven a couple of Patrol and 2 of the 4 had problems with the driver mirror. The patrol I'm buying won't pass the roadworthy cause the mirror flick back to a set position which I don;t see as a problem as I can press on teh glass to get it to where I want it.
has anyone taking the mirror apart to fix gears or other problems. I'm not looking forward to forking big money out for a replacement.

Hi John, I had a simular problem with mine, underneath the body is a screw, and you can only get in with a stumpy, tighten it up. Otherwise here are some link re. the side door mirrors.
