Possible remap - copy Clem? Drop our consumption?
Couldn't help but feel jealous of Clems fuel consumption. What are the chances Nissan has done a remap on the 2012+ models? My BIL has the remap software and he inspected my car...no faults. He said almost every other car he has checked has faults logged ;). Anyways he mentioned that perhaps we could get one of the "new" patrols, do a download and compare to my model etc. Then make the necessary changes? It would certainly be awesome if it was the mapping? Is anyone prepared to "offer" the car up for a download? Anyone else think it will / won't work?

Hi Roy -- great idea BUT first ensure that all the engine innards are the same before you remap .. For instance: Heads' gas flow patterns, cylinder upper surface, bige ends strenths, con rods ... etc etyc
Don't bring God down to your level of faith ... bring your faith up to His level!

I wouldn't mind helping but I'm pretty afraid that somehow they'd screw up the mapping or something else on my car. FYI, next weekend I'm hauling a trailer out to the Drakensberg and back. We'll see how that changes things.
