4.8 original recovery hook wanted

Good morning
I want to add a second recovery hook to my Patrol.
I am looking for an original hook.
Can anybody help me with one, I am in Pretoria.
Attached is a photo of the hook I want.

Ek het dalk vir jou een, moet net gaan kyk of dit die selfde is......myne kom van die 4.5 af.

Johan ek is onseker of die recovery punte wat pieter connan maak op die 4.8 pas pm hom hy sal jou kan se...dawid het nie enige 4.8 by hom nie maar vind maar uit altyd lekke om met Dawid te chat ....een van die forum manne het een by nissan gekoop vir 500 rand so 2 jaar terug wat nie te bad was nie....onthou net om die regte boute te gebruik 8.8 sterkte maar laat Piet jou antwoord hy is die expert op staal sterkte ens

Hi Johan,

I got rid of mine as it is not the best recovery point. Simply it does not secure the rope/strop and when the tension slackens the rope/strap the falls out. Suggest you visit your local 4x4 shop and see if the can make some for you or send PC a mail. I am sure he can help you.

Johan, unfortunately the 4.8's recovery hook is unique and not shared with any of the older models.

It is also the best recovery hook you will find for the Patrol, as it allows "soft" recoveries.

AndriesS bought one from Nissan a year or two ago for about R550, which I thought is fairly reasonable.
