It is, it seems, still in progress.
Ideally this needs to be finalised in Nov / Dec of the previous year.

But once done and on the Nissan site, I am sure it will get published on this forum pretty soon thereafter.
Ek het 'n voorlopie program per epos gekry. Dalk was jy nie op die distribusie lys nie?
Maar ek sou dink dit behoort gepubliceerd te word op die Nissan Offroad club forum?
Hierdie us wat ek totdusver weet:
Herewith the current plan of events for 2014: (please diarise, so the dates are NOT 'forgotten')
Nothing in February, because 1) we are late sending out the list - apologies, 2) so many events in March.
I March - Driver training theory, at Edenvale Nissan - email already sent out. 6 places still open. R 850/head, where other suppliers charge R 1500 to R 1900. So, definitely worth while.
8 March - Reach for a Dream charity FUN event - we need 10 vehicles for the team, or 20 vehicles for 2 teams - R 250/vehicle - fun event, lots for children to do, well catered, see the info below. Base 4, between JHB & Harties on R 511.
21 to 23 March - Moegatle (40 km north of Brits) camping long weekend. Not to be missed. Stay for 1 night or 2. You do not have to drive up or down Koos se Klim, but you can still drive to the top of that rock. I will contact Alex & arrange discounted prices for chalets, camping, etc.
29 March - Driver training practical - details & costs to be advised
12 April - Bridgestone 4x4 Club Challenge - we need at least 40 vehicles to enter, to be able to remain in the competition in 2015. The emphasis is increasingly on driver skill/knowledge and eco knowledge, as opposed to smashing up some rocks. Last year was great fun, no vehicles got damaged. Nice prizes, and the first 3 places go to the final, which is always a rocking event!!
26 April to 3 May - eastern Cape mountain passes trip, see info on the forum. www.nissan-forum.co.za - 3 days leave gets you 9 days holiday.
24 & 25 May - Berakah weekend (100 kms from JHB) - stay over (camping or chalets) or stay in Parys, or drive back home after the day.
28 June - Kungwini (Bronkhorstspruit) - day drive, or also has nice overnight facilities. Great training track for the less experienced to hone their skills, then on to the longer outride, through some great rock formation, eco trail, etc.
26 July - Heidelburg 4x4 (approx. 65 kms from JHB) - non stop action.
16 August - AAWDC Fun Day - we are organising this annual event, but not entering a 10 vehicle team, UNLESS we get significant commitment from members to assist with the organising, so that everything is finalised by 1 June. Only then, will we consider entering a driving team. So, it is up to you, as club members, to help make this day a success.
More events for later in the year, as well as more information on listed events, to follow.
