Nissan 4x4 Club - Mabalingwe weekend 4x4 - 26 Oct 2013

Post by ricster »

There is a Mabalingwe weekend getaway planned for the 26th October 2013. Has anyone ever been to a trail out that side of the world? When we set up the 4x4 Events calendar we were looking for new and different places to do trails and weekend getaways.

There is the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, when I search on Google, but it would be nicer if someone knows of a lekker place to camp and do a trail. Unfortunately I cannot make this event, but will arrange things if there is an interest.

Serendipity is not that far away.

So is Marakele, and beyond that is another very challenging trail which's name I have now forgotten.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Cedric It is one off the best Nature Reserves in the Country. It is one off our Favorite weekend getaways. They have a small area with the normal setup with ditches and axle twisters. But then one off the routes are for 4x4 only it the only way to get up the mountain and one of the best views off the area. As mentioned it has the BIG 5, you can see 4 off them( if the luck is in your favor) in the open Area off the reserve.

Spoken to Mariette at reservations so she will arrange to put Nissan4x4 club people in a group. so when you book just tell her you part off the group.

Cedric the 4x4 is part of the facility's so no extra charges. When i spoke to Mariette i asked her about a group discount, when ten or more off the same group they can give us a 10% group discount.
