Post by Willie »

Hi

Does anyone know if there is advantages or disadvantages to a "van der linde" conversion on a Nissan Patrol 4500 pertol . Will it be more economical ?

Thanks

Hi Willie

Willie,

Had my Harbody at Van der Linde's for a stage 3. It went like the clappers. Nie een double cab kon saam ry nie. The cheapest part was the conversion. Fuel consumption was terrible. This was not van der Linde's fault, but my own, because the car sounded better and went well.

I summary, a artisan once told me ""if you want more horses, you need to feed them". I ahve found on my Trol, and noticable differance in fuel consumption when reducing the speed.

Daa'sy Grant - exacitly what oompie is trying to say - the extra power is glorious - the LESS fuel consumption is the discipline you can show'
When I drove teh Terrano we got 10 Kml - when Dwergie drove [same load - same road] the consumtion went to 14 Kml between tanks... bulk sms ... [BUT I wear a size 11, she wears a 4 ... ]

:naughty:
