New belts....help

Post by Russ Kellermann »

Guys, my truck is at nissan today for a service, and i told them yesterday that i'm going to need new belts,as mine are very old and have stretched. The service is now complete, they've just called me, but they say that they dont have hte belts in stock and it will take a few days. They offered me aftermarket belts, but i'm worried about that affecting my extended warranty. Secondly, what is the price difference between the two?

Nissan quote on belts x3 = R585.00 then there's labour of R645.00 and vat, so = R1600 odd bucks for a couple belts,.....must be outa their minds, gonna do it myself just like old times.
