Looking for a handgrenade that went BOOM

I am starting to really want a Patrol. I am patient and in no hurry.

The idea is to source a 3.0 ZD motor that blew and replace with a 4.2Tdi since it is a fit and forget, plug and paly conversion (according to the forum)

Where does one start looking? I am keeping an eye on Autotrader and Gumtree, but the cars there are all in working nick.
