Spoke to two of the moderators on the LC forum and they are in. I have suggested we have a Patrol :woo: vs Landcruiser :rolling: challange next year. More fun event where we get to meet each other at a 4x4 trail, and have some fun with guys who have the same size vehicles as we have. Suggestion is we have 4 to 6 events where we get Patrol's and Cruise from the same era.: 80 vs Y60's etc.

Gerrit, we will not let you leave this forum or our ranks :oldtimer: :oldtimer: :naughty: :naughty: . We will meet each other in the battelgrounds of the trail and celebrate the Potrol"s :woo: :woo: victory :rolling: :rolling: in the evenings.

Sounds cool, Grant. Not sure whose victory will be celebrated, but I am sure lots of fun will be had by like minded enthusiasts  (almost like Doc Craven used to say: "Rugby sal seëvier") .

This sounds like a great fun event, but will need to have drivers that know there stuff !!! What an awesome GTG, for Cruisers and Patrols !!! It would be nice to see how the different machines fair against each other.

Look.... I believe it will be a VERY VERY close call between the two makes....as both are very competent and capable vehicles !!
Regards
Cedric

Team make up should depend on having attended a Patrol GTG where we have practice runs.
Having decided on the course, perhaps each forum gets a weekend on go there.

Need an independent referee!
Hmmm, the Land Rover club, Ha-Ha!

Suggestions for Moderators to please move this to a new thread in the Social/Campfire section so further arrangements can be made for this , will be better to separate from the current thread topic i reckon?
