Brakes running hot Never we not racing and i'm still using the same disc pads I bought the car with..
The only possible problem can be from when mud or a stone gets stuck between caliper and rim it can cut the rim open but you can always put rim scrapers in

If you find the right rim you can order me a set as wheel :thumbup:

Volgens die aussie forums is die korrekte offset:
Vir 8" rim, -19
Vir 10" rim, -44
(Maar ek het geen idee of dit wel korrek is nie)

Michael, ek het van daai A-line Grips op wat Fanus gelink het, behalwe ek is redelik seker myne is 7" wyd.

Ek moes wel die ID bietjie laat sny om oor die spigots op die hubs te pas. Ek het hulle nou al omtrent 6 jaar op die kar en jy weet hoe ek ry. Een van hulle is effens gebuig, so dit is moontlik om hulle te beskadig, maar mens moet hard probeer.

Jy is baie welkom om te kom kyk of my spaarwiel op jou kar sal pas, en indien wel is jy baie welkom om vir 'n week of wat wiele te ruil, sodat jy self alk jou vrae kan uitsorteer?

Bring net jou trolliejack of bokkies saam dat ons altwee karre gelyk kan oplig.

O, net bygese, ek het nog nooit "brake fade" op my kar gehad nie, so alhoewel dit heel moontlik waar is dat kleiner vellings verkoeling van die brieke kan belemmer, twyfel ek of dit enige impak het op padgebruik. Dalk is dit 'n probleem as jy resies jaag.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Sulke oulike 15" 10J A-Line rims, met al te fraaie 33x12.5 MT bandjies. Die 4.2 diesels het mos piepklein discs & calipers omdat hulle so vrek stadig is, dus is dit nie 'n pyn om "properse" off-road rims op hulle te pas nie. Met 'n 2" OME lift raak daai bande glad nie, al is die rims se offset iets vreesliks...

Ek sien dat die meeste bande vir 15" rims waar die band se od 32"+gaan is die maks laaigewig maar so 1 ton en maks band druk is maar 35 psi. Is dit nie te laag vir die patrols nie?

Sulke groot bande ry met laer druk as laer profiel bande. Myne werk lekker op 2 bar, of dalk op na 2.2 bar as ek swaar laai & snelweg ry.

... en 4 x 1 ton = 4 ton - heelwat meer as die bruto gewig van 'n Patrol!

Peter, dankie vir insette.
Ek sal graag jou wiele op my Patrol sit om die verskil te voel. Ek glo dit gaan nie veel van n verskil maak nie, maar ek wil dit nogsteeds doen voor ek finaal my besluit maak.

Christo, jou wiele se offste het nog altyd vir my reg gelyk en dit gee my hoop as jy se dit vang nerens.
Weet jy wat jou offset is? Moes jy spacers ook in sit?
