Re: Swazi trip = Moegatle !!!!!
Peter, we stayed in a chalet ( was actually an old mobile home )so not sure about the camping. Wood etc I'm sure Alex Fullard will have those types of things. There is a huge central open boma that he makes a fire in and them we all took coals to cook with.
On a side note, but very importantly, Moegatle is rated as one of 3 terror trails here in SA. Having said that, yes it can be quite intense, but you can always go around. I am only mentioning the rough stuff (and I'm sure Alex too), because this is not like Hennops or other trails we have done before. So rather we say " Hey this trail can be quite intense " just so you are aware and prepared for it. You don't want to go in blind. It really is a great trail to do, and taking Alex Fuller along with you will be HIGHLY recommended.

Righto. I'm in. Will be there on Saturday. Not sure if the family will be coming along or not. The wife is not speaking with me at the moment - I have no idea why, and I can only assume she found out about me using her hair-dryer on the glue on the lights...
^^ That is a joke. She's just still uncertain about what she has to do on Saturday.
What time must we be there ?

Re: Swazi trip = Moegatle !!!!!
Peter - if you're going to be there, can we make an arrangement that I deliver the stuff I need to deliver to you (ie: David's winch plate, recovery hook for Cobus) and collect what I need to collect from you (ie: diff protector) at Moegatle on Saturday ? Things have been super crazy, and I've just not managed to find the time to get to Kempton Park in the last week or two... :(Peter Connan wrote:Alex/Cedric/Christo: what facilities does the campsite have?
