Is this a good idea for a lift on my gq?

Post by graham1 »

Hi folks,

From this for sale thread:
http://www.patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=5885

Would this be a good idea for a lift for my old 96 4.2?
Im assuming i would need to get new shocks at least as well though then hey?

I have absolutely no clue on all this, all I know is I want to get a bit of a lift on mine, embarrassingly mainly for looks  , as I know it would be competent enough in standard trim.
Should I actually just be looking for standard 4.8 springs?

Thank you!

Ok, thanks Tinus, so you reckon i should rather be looking for standard 4.8 springs rather than these fancy ones?
