Re: Y61 4.5 GRX SEATS
what do you think of this seat, are most of the 4,5 GRX driver leather seats this bad looking after 220000km year 2000 model?
Not sure if its normal for these seats to wear like this

Mine also has the same ( not quite as bad ) characteristics as yours. Unfortunately like mine, the seats never got any leather care, and the creases start to wear the shine away. One can stop the wear by rubbing some dubbin into the leather. This will nourish the leather and make it nice and soft.
Regards
Cedric

Hi Ricster, this sounds like a good idea, I think I will do this and fit some escape seat coversricster wrote:Mine also has the same ( not quite as bad ) characteristics as yours. If the itegrity of the seat is fine and you make it soft again with dubbin or winns leather care you can put canvas covers over and it will look and feel 100%
