Re: Wannabe Patrol 4.2 Pickup Owner...
What would you consider to be a good price for this vehicle?Russ Kellermann wrote:As much as i would like the re-sale price to stay high,.. the R189k asking price is just too high in my opinion for a patrol pickup with 165k on the clock, if i look at an average selling/ asking price over the last 2-3 years. particulalry when considering the condition, model type, and lack of items like AC, original Patrol Rims, etc, which are very saught after.
Regards
Russ.
This bakkie is in delmas, dont know if we have a forum member in the area that can look at it and give a second opinion?

Re: Wannabe Patrol 4.2 Pickup Owner...
Hi SJC,
I was only referring to the AC, as a vehicle of this price should have come standard with AirCon in my opinion. I own a 2007 Patrol pickup which i have now done 210 000 km on. Works hard every single day and still perfect.
As far as price goes,... as an example, right now there's a 2010 model with the same KM reading going for the same price. And, it has twin bucket seats, centre console electric windows and AC etc as standard. .. Its on Gumtree... and im sure you could still negotiate.
For a vehicle like the one you looking at ,i know this sounds pathetic but ,i've seen them go for R150 000 or less.

If you stayed in Delmas I whould have considered it, but I dont want you to drive from Kempton as I am not convinced that I am still interrested in this vehicle. Thanks for the offer.
