Perhaps jerry cans on the back seat? Won't get to 500kg, but maybe it doesn't matter, as long as everybody's got sort-of the same?

About the 500kg,

Can I get a handicap as I have more than that on the Troll. Suggestion is that we leave all the Trolls as is (no extra weight) as its going to be difficult to ensure some sort of fairness. Our diesels are built for overlanding, not so with the petrols. They simply cannot drive that far before they need to fill up . :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Grant,

An "as is" run is definitely part of the day. The loaded run is actually going to tell us a story, an i think the diesel torque curve will surprise us.

Lets keep the cars as they are equipped. As that is how we use our vehicles and this is what we will see. I think the day will ne more informative than we may think. Pls pm me the speed -+ ur trol gets to from zero over 1, 1.5 & 2 km.

Importantly, in spite of the light hearted banter, it will be a fun day, giving us a lot of insight. I am also interested to see the effect of age/miles.

Marnus,

Maybe with a handicap system for millage. I have 406k km and still running strong. I will be driving to troll tomorrow and will get an idea of what it does over the distance mentioned. I must say I have never seen the Patrol as a speed demon, but I am sure we will surprise some of the gas guzzlers. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Hi Guys,,

Count me out. I will be camping at Mbizi that weekend with friends from Heneman. It is also the Kyknet out Dorris show so hopefully there are some new toys available.

I would rather walk bare foot than drive a Toyota. :rolling: :rolling:
