Hi John, and welcome here!

I've been a regular visitor to the US over the past decade or so and have seen lots of Nissans that we don't encounter over here (i.e. Xterras, Titans, Armadas). But not once have I encountered a Patrol. Did they actually sell the Y61 over there?

PS: Those photos of your backyard view are amazing! Makes me a very jealous seeing that I'm stuck in a city

Nope Y61 never sold here Just the 60 series for 8 years during the 60's

as for my back yard its nice

but Looking the other way its 100 miles east to west and about 45 miles north to south nothing but city life

Miles and miles of pavement and buildings and 8 different cities
this ia a partial view from another mountain the Metropolitain Phoenix area
sits in a natural bowl formed by mountains on all sides i just happen to live on the extreme east side of the valley

Certainly a nice view from your backyard.

If you ever come to South Africa you must let me know. My in laws has a farm in the Thabazimbi bushveld. Right alongside the Marakele National Park. The National park boasts the big five, and not only that, they have a few 4x4 trails that is quite challenging. Have not tried them out myself yet.
I am quite sure we can tempt some of the forum members to participate.

Boarding and lodging is no problem. We stay on the farm. An old farm house is availbale as well as a hunting camp with basic amenities.Else camping in the veld/bush is also an option.

but i would be afraid if i actually, ever made it to Africa Me and the Wife would not want to Leave

you might have noticed a bit of a mixture of languages on the forum.

sorry for the delay in my reply to you
its No big deal for me , Although i only speak 1 language . i figure if
it was important , and directed toward me i could always try a translator program

i think its pretty cool to see other languages, and i find my self trying to
figure it out... No Luck yet but im sure over time ill pick up the bad words
or most common words i see
