Dirk, I am busy with Glyn on this question. I would like to try do it that we get each persons vehicle stuck and then each person does their own recovery, with someone just there to stop you if there is a safety issue. Then you have a quick scoring and pointers as to where you went wrong or right. Doing it yourself is a brilliant way to learn, cause you have to make the decisions with your own car. Logistics is the biggest thing, as we need to do everyone individually without anyone seeing the previous recovery to make it fair.

I would like to join

BUT

on my Safari the recovery hooks were removed when they installed the tow bar and bullbar (way back in 1984) and the the only "recovery equipment" I have is a tow rope. The Patrol's service is overdue so I try to keep the kilos low.
