That sounds very good.

John, is Hein's bumper airbag compatible?

Airbags on the patrol does not rely on the bumper but on the G-force meter under the seat.

I don't know who is more "looking forward" 2 this, YOU or ME...??

Two mates of mine had front bumpers build by Burnco years back and they were some of the nicest designs I've EVER seen!

Besides the unique (and VERY practical) design, as well as the "user friendly" rec. points, the good price is a further plus point!

Hein and them are currently working on a 'new design' front bumper for a Toyota Prado 120.
(They have just finished the rear bumper for the same car, as well as an awesome in-car packing system + 2 x carpeted w/tanks).

I real must see!!

Gerrit, dont know about the Patrol but on my Hardbody the crumble zones were in the chassis and not on the ARB as was the case with the Cruiser.
The difference was that on the Hardbody the ARB bolted straight onto the chassis whereas with the Cruiser the ARB had additional mountings with crumble zone that fit between the ARB and the chassis.

I would guest that in the case of the hardbody any integrated bumper bullbar would be airbag compatible.

I may be misunderstanding this whole issue though.

Herrie is sort of correct though in that the MEMS accelerometer is mounted on top of the ECU and is not affected by the bullbar other than that the car may decellerate quicker due to less crumbling of the vehicle to absorb the crash due to a BB.

Ek sien die Cruiser se neus. As mens nie in die bos kan kamp nie kamp jy maar by die kar. Dis dam amper dieselfde.
