Goeie dag almal. Ek het (asseblief) weer hulp nodig. Spartucus is nou klaar ek het die volgende asls gedoen. Engine is oor gedoen,egr is geblok, groter inter cooler van grootseun, ek het die cat laat uithaal, catch can,madman gauge, ek wag nog net vir die daves valve. Ek het nou seker al so 800km gery vandat als gedoen is.gt het die volgende op. Arb bumper, ome syspention, 285/75/16 bf a/t, en hy is manual, nou as ek 120 km/h ry is die rpm so 3000. Die egt op gelykpad is dan so 600c , egt probe is voor die turbo. Die boost is dan so 0.1 - 0.2bar, as ek dan opdraande kry of versnel sal die egt gou klim tot 720+. Dj wil net weet of ander dit ook so ondervind. As ek so 115km/h ry is die boost heelwat hoër en die egt is dan laer, die boost is ook hoër as ek se 130km/h ry. Dj kry geen boost spikes nie. So ek weet nie of die vorige mense die vnt gestel het dat my boost nie reg is nie. Dj het nou met hom gaan ry, as ek se in 3 de fullthrottle gee boost hy tot by4000 rpm max so 0.9bar.
Ek wil net nie he as ek ver ry met n trailer dat die egt tehoog is asgevolg van iets wat nie reg is nie.dankie vir almal se hulp sover. Groet

Daai EGT is te hoog , moet laer wees , jy boost waarskynlik nie onderlangs nie wat meen jy overfuel en dit veroorsaak hoe EGTs

Die EGTs as jy 120 ry sonder vrag op gelyk pad op myne is onder 400 en soms selfs laer , die hoogste wat ek ooit my EGTs sien onder vol vrag en hard ry is 690

My EGT temps are about 460 at 120km on a flat road road when pulling my trailer. Going uphill the temps go up to 560. Highest I have ever gone is 600.

I also have a Ironman bar bigger tyres and 100mm suspension and roof rack.I still have the factory intercooler. With a bigger intercooler the temps should be lower.

Grootseun kan jy dalk vir my se of jou egt probe voor of na die turbo is. Jou trol is auto ne. Waar is jy rpms op 120km/h. My kar is manual en is presies 3000rpm op 120km/h. Laat weet (asseblief). Anders sal ek na jou toe moet ry op n naweek dat ons hom kan regstel of na iemand toe vat wat hom op n dyno kan stel. Want dit bekommer my. Dj dit is of die trol vreeslik swaar is op diesel.

Gifgat...those egt's are way too high!! The egt probe should be as close to the cylinder head exhaust port, before the turbo, as possible for accuracy. I stand corrected, but those pistons will melt at 750deg !!

There is something wrong with the boost vs air supply ratio. Get that machine to a good diesel mechanic like sacs or bosch or someone who knows what they are doing to re-calibrate the pump set the boost correctly

Ek het my EGT baie mooi dopgehou die naweek in die willetuin. Met sleepwa op gelyk pad teen 100/110 was dit so 450, maar dit was met die roof rack en die groot Coopers op. Opdraende was ander storie maar selfs dan nooit meer as 600 nie.

Vanmore PTA toe gewees met die Patrol en die EGT het dit nooit verby 470 gevat nie, 110 opdraende en gelyk pad.

Stem saam met die experts, laat hom toets by SAC vir overfueling.

Ek het n Patrol ingesleep van modderfontein af sondagaand , sy belt tensioner het geseize en ek was haastig so ek het nie versigtig gery nie - hoogste EGT teen hengse opdraande met n swaar voet en n Trol op steroids agter my vas wat ek gesien het 700 to t710 en nooit eers oor 520 gegaan op gelyk pad onder daai vrag nie

Dia agterste trol het natuurlik baie beter EGT en brandstof verbruik as myne gesien :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:
