Shalom

Re: My nuwe speelding
Project is going a bit slower than I hoped for, but unfortunately cash is hiding under some one else's bed it seems
What I have done so far:
- Moved the deul battery back a bit, so snorkel hose will now fit.
- Added 12v point in the back via 16mm cable for fridge/freezer.
- added 2x 12v points in the back via 5mm cable for kids etc.
- partially fitted the washing lines.
- had an alarm system with central locking fitted.
- had all the electric window wiring sorted, fited new switches and one new window motor - for R1,850. Stealers quoted me R5k for motor only
- had Dyna Mat fitted on floor of vehicle as well as doors for better sound and heat protection.
Next on the list (this week):
- all 6 door panels to be re-upholstered.
- rock sliders to be powder coated/cleaned and painted.
- rear step to be covered with chekerred plate.
- spare wheel cover to be fitted.
- getting jump seat on Saterday
- Fit Brad Harrison for Deulbattery system in trailer.

Re: My nuwe speelding
I always wanted a green one. So I bought one (just like yours). Now I've seen yours I know that if I respray mine it will be that colour - looks great.
I also have 2nd battery which required the air inlet pipe to do a little detour - which meant finding a suitable piece of pipe for that heat and all. And one that is round on one end and square on the other end. What kind of pipe did you use? And where did you get it?

Re: My nuwe speelding
I just moved the battery, the mackie will connect the Snorkel, but dont think it will be a problem as I still have all the original pipe's so will only require a short round piece to extend current pipe - and that will be his problem

Re: My nuwe speelding
Dirk,
Troll is looking good. When you start with the boots around the gearbox, be carefull when you remove the plastic box section. It is very brittle and breaks very easily. I took most of the day to replace the rubber boots, also used some automotive silicon and heat rejection material around the gear lever.
The differance was huge. Much quieter and also less heat. I also took the same heat rejection material and fitted it in the whole car. Also fitted extra veld around the front only. Again mutch cooler and quieter.
