De Kraal - East London
Did any one do the De Kraal route close to East London yet. I'm planning a trip in a couple of weeks. Any one keen to join me?

I've done it twice in my second my Hilux SFA. Was a fun day out with a friend. Nothing too hectic but you can have a jol, there are a couple of places that can get you. I havenot been there for ages tho so maybe its changed. You can also braai there and its in a great area, nice and green at the moment too, just got back from T-kei visiting the folks.

Having spoken to Renier we did the De Kraal 4x4 route near East London.
Renier's advice was spot-on.
It is not a difficult route but very scenic with some tight turns. The route is located in a dense bush area and is in places quite over grown. There are a camp site, ablutions, a braai facility and a bar. Quads and bikes are accommodated on a different route.
De Kraal is well worth a visit, but take a pruning scissors with. Entry fee is R150 per vehicle.
