Re: I did bend my Patrol at Klipkoppie
n small kink should not make that much difference, you effectively shortened the torque arm of you anti roll bar. If you decide to undo them and drive just be careful as you will have plenty of roll now int the vehicle , even more so in top heavy vehicles like the Patrol.
If Nissan wants an arm and leg or months to deliver a set I'll suggest you get a straight solid bar (PC maybe you can advise on type - EN3 ok?) the length of the link, get them threaded both sides and get the appropriate size rose or ball joint for the other side - Peter Conan described a way to make the rear links some time ago.

Re: I did bend my Patrol at Klipkoppie
Uncle Mac, the anti-roll bars actually have more to do with apeasing people's in-built sense of discomfort when a vehicle's body rolls as one corners, than with improving the vehicles roadholding, at least when both axles are solid. If independent suspensions are in the mix, then the anti-roll bars actually help to control the tyre camber angles when cornering, but with solid axles the body's roll angle has very little to do with the tyres' camber angles. The bottom line is that large body roll angles don't necessarily imply impending roll-over, although it might feel that way. My anti-roll bars have been off for a looong time

Oompie Mac , Gerrit drives like Speedy Gonzales on steriods, he is worse than Beep-Beep the Roadrunner, he is the Giniel de Villiers of Zululand , the traffic cops here sends him speeding fines one year in advance

Alex
I did not go over the rock quickly at all. Verrrrry slowly in fact, but I thought the rock was against the transfer case bash plate that Peter made, so I thought it will slide over it and then the front wheel will lift the rest of the car over the rock.
I used the Patrol's power to bend it, not speed at all.
