Vastrap Fees

Lombard Tyres will be hosting a Vastrap Fees together with Protea Eco Adventures on the 11th of February 2012.

Since this will be the first time we will be hosting the event together we really need you support to make this a big event and to make it an annually FEES.

The Vastrap Fees will be held at the Krugersdorp Game Reserve, with displays at the Lodge inside the reserve with all the events kicking off from this point.

All profits made at this festival will be donated to the Westrand Association for people with Disabilities (WRAPD)

We need 4x4 enthusiast to participate in our Kumho 4x4 Fun Day event!

The costs will be R200 per vehicle.

Entrance into the game reserve will be R40 per adult and R20 per child

Activities planned for the Vastrap Fees:

Kumho Tyres 4x4 Fun Event

This will be a fun event, with different obstacle points; with a variety of difficulties to show your driving capabilities.

This will not be a Rum & Coke event!

There will be marshals at each obstacle point, to score you on your technicality etc at the different points.

Winners will be announced after the event, with lots of fun prizes.

Paramedics and first aid personnel will attend the festival.

See some animals – then visit the game reserve…….hahahaha

The Vastrap Fees on Saturday is not a hard-core 4x4 day, but more of a fun day with some lighter obstacles. Should it rain there will be fun.

On Saturday we visited the site and could not find something that was really a challenge. The problem is that it is a game reserve and big obstacles is not fitting in the game reserve. What I have found is a flat area, near a water stream, here we can get the guys to take their wheel of and refit, to see who does it the quickest.

Just around the corner there is an area that is black clay. On Saturday it was dry, but should it rain, we will have fun. The weather guys say it is going to rain and if that happens, we will have fun, as the vehicles will get stuck.

Can I ask that we all meet at the main building in the Krugersdorp Game Reserve. The time I suggest is 06:00 so we can discuss.

The other problem is that there are people who will do Mountain Biking and they will flood the area, so we will find an area where we can park our machines.

When we get to our spot we will ask for one of our team to take lead and work with others to set up our stopping area.

Banners, flags are welcome. I will buy some wors so we can make a quick breakfast before the part starts at 08:00. Vasbyt
