Re: Patrol's 60th Birthday: 3 Provinces, 24 September 2011
From the Venue 3 Provinces 4x4 - From Herman and Ronel - we want to ad to all these beautiful compliments.
We were mostly impressed with all the TROLLIE owners (or as oom Mac said - Datsun ryers). We couldn't believe it is possible to handle 60 vehicles (or 65 vehicles including the team leaders, Nissan SA and Leisure Wheels) such smoothly. Also the performance of the vehicles was of top standard. You should all tap yourselves on the shoulder, for it was you who made it possible.
I must admit that we were a bit sceptic on how 60 vehicles will go through the mountains and congratulations, it was unbelievably well done. Thanks to you all for making it easy.
I must then also thank Kobus and Nico for your commitment to make this event a huge success. You handled the hammering from all sides and you made it easy for us to organize this. With every plan we, or somebody else came, you supported it. Also during the event - you worked hard to get all the stickers on the vehicles and to do the briefings, and a lot of other stuff nobody even know of.
To the church for the wonderfull meals they prepared. They worked so hard and the tables were beautiful set. Thank you very much.
Then one big thanks to Nissan SA - We think they deserve a big applause for treating the TROLLIES so nicely. Where in the world do you go to, to receive money back, lots of presents and then also enjoy as much as you can. Special thanks to Ross Garvie, Glynn Demmer, Ivan Olivier (from France) and Max de Witt with his sweet dogs. And they even went further to let everyone order some more Patrol 60th jackets at a discounted price.
Lastly, thank you very much for choosing our venue. We were honoured to host such a beautiful event with such marvellous people.
Hope you all go well and enjoy your next event in Swaziland. Maybe we as well will have a Patrol one day - we were impressed.

NS! Don't forget our next event 27April-1May'2012 - The Battlefield Trohpy - it is someting not to miss. A family event with lots of activities such as 4x4'ing, Camel rides, canoeing, sharp shooting, absailing, visits to Museums, going through a cave, and much more. Let us know if you are interested so we can put your name on the list.
