BOSVARK GQ to M57 , FULL VEHICLE REFURB AND M57 CONVERSION
Hello Manne
I have finally taken the plunge and got another Patrol. Thanks to Tinus for his help. It’s a 96 GU patrol, the foundation is there, now to “upgrade” engine (there is no engine ) and the interior.
I would really appreciate any advise or comments as we go along on this journey, your experience and comments will go a long way !

I am looking for the fender flares but not those massive ones with the holes in them. Also a good deal on a snorkel

Interesting, how are you going to do engine management on the M57?
Why not a tweaked RD28 or even a TD42?

Re: BOSVARK GQ to M57 , FULL VEHICLE REFURB AND M57 CONVERSION
M57 has been going in patrols for a long time in europe
10km per liter and big reliable power in a straight 6 and no kettle effect .
O yes its a lot cheaper than a proper td42t

I know the guy who built that patrol.

Thanks, you prompted me to Google the subject. I see they remap the stock ECU and delete the ABS, EGR, DPF, MAP and EWS?Tinus lotz wrote: ↑26 Jan 2020 14:57 M57 has been going in patrols for a long time in europe

What is the price of the engine? The conversion kit looks quite expensive?
