Not much of a trip report but rather a few pics i chose from from yesterday.... snowing heavy heavy heavy the whole day, even at the farm house and half way back down the pass!,....and as usual i was the only one there...bliss!

Mooi man, have only experienced something like this in Gamka once , while doing a census on Eland and Mountain Zebra.It came in horizontal.

Russ, what was the ambient temp? As a matter of interest, does the 4.2D have a diesel warming system?

In my Bethlehem days we often had to contend with "gell" formed diesel and "puff puff" bakkie as a result of ambiet temperatures well below zero. We installed diesel warming gadgets in all our vehicles and farm equipment.
