Swithing it on and off and it goes well again.
Has gone into limp 3 times since.
With some help from forum members I got the faultcodes using the method I will add below.
The codes I got and from what I could find about them are:
Code : 0120 (Throttle position sensor)
0340 (CPM Sen/ Circuit)
Now what nou
From a single wire diesel that it is either fuel solenoid or diesel filter to OBD2 I have no clue but am determined to sort it out by myself. I want to know what is going on so I can fix it if I am in the bush.
Fault code finding without workshop computer:
you just need to count the flashes of the engine light, a 0 is ten flashes, and so on. You need a 4 digit code to refer to falut codes
The engine light will flash the code or codes in different types of flashes distinguishable by lent of flashes and intervals.
How to set diagnostic test mode II (Self-diagnostic results)
1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the MI starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal. ECM has entered to Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results).
