Warn Winch Service

I gathered my Warn winch needed a little TLC and a good service. Since I've got a service manual for the winch, it's a relatively straight-forward job and I enjoy getting my hands dirty, I have decided to do this myself. I took the winch out a couple of weeks ago, and it has been lying in my garage ...

Mud Flaps ?

Hi there other Patrollers. I took part in the Bridgestone challenge this weekend. The 'trol performed awesomely, although did not fare too well with scoring. The poles for the obstacles were just too narrow. I think I scored 250, if I recall correctly. Nevertheless, I seem to have torn my left front...

Re: Ironman Suspension

Upgrade done yesterday, and I gained about 60mm in terms of lift. The distance from the bottom of the rim until the bumper is now 820mm... Truck feels huge. :) Ride is a little harder (I was expecting this) but fantastic. A few photographs (as per Tinus request). They're not very good, as the Trol i...

Re: Diesel Patrol 90s

Norman,

The Safari linked to by OffroadBiker (Dirk) is still there - I drove past the dealership again this morning.

As mentioned, I've not had a lot of a chance to go and get details on it yet, but I can make a plan to stop by there this evening if you're interested.

Let me know.

Re: Nissan Keys, Keycoding and Parts

Jurie, I'd suggest manually locking the car with the keys. It's central locking, so all locks should lock / unlock when the vehicle is locked manually from the driver's side. If this works, it is definitely not a mechanical issue. If it does not work, I'd assume there is some technical issue with th...

Re: Ian de Villiers (iandvl)

Thanks Ian. If it is still off would you mind posting some dimensions and what thickness is the plate? David, The bumper is back on currently. I removed the winch as I need to clean it, greese it and similar when I have some time. I will have to take the bumper off again when the winch is all clean...

I had to remove the winch recently to give it a service. As such, I thought I would post pictures.
