Y61 front bumper free to good home- GONE

EDIT: GONE. NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I just removed my front bumper. 2008 4.8 GRX. White. Undamaged but not immaculate. It has two holes in the top that look like spots were fitted. I have no idea if that is a standard feature for that model.
Free giveaway.

Re: Bridgestone tyres and punctures

Years ago I had a set of Duelers on a vehicle and they gave me above average mileage but I had many punctures........ all in the same tyre though. The others in the set of 5 gave zero issues. Perhaps there is just a quality control issue resulting in random lemons Edited to add.... for what its wort...

Re: Aluminum drawer system

The bearings etc add a ton of weight and waste a lot of space. Burnco make drawers that consist of a 10mm square tube frame, alu drawers, and some sort of teflon type extrusion as runners. No wasted space and very light compared to the old fashioned designs out there. I buy the bare frame and I stal...

Re: Maximum load on roof rack

I reckon you can pretty much load anything on there provided you adjust your driving. This photo was a ton of weight on a heavy steel cantilever rack on a flimsy fibreglass canopy during a training exercise and no harm done

Re: Cosmetics, switches etc.

I just ordered a load of parts from him right now. Seat switches and a variety of cosmetic bits and pieces. I actually got hold of him via facebook and only saw this thread when I came here to search seat switches quickly before hitting the payment knoppie

Re: Patrols for Sale - Various sites

I considered buying it but the Cape is rust territory and that wrap is just too suspect for me. I personally won't buy a resprayed or wrapped Cape vehicle. The risk 7s just too much for me. You can fix anything mechanical but rust is a cancer

Re: Brake light switch: OEM only or is there an aftermarket option

Ok so I McGuyvered the aftermarket switch to fit the plug and it's working. Brake lights and stuck gear shifter fixed. So my Patrol is now .009% Kia/Ford

For what it's worth, the Nissan parts guy told me quite openly that they only stock service parts and nothing else for the Patrol.
