Re: Engine cut-out

Will keep Frans in mind. Problem solved. Positive wire running through fuel pump housing making intermittent contact. :blonde:

Re: Engine cut-out

Thanks you all.
Where do i get hold of Frans. Previous owner adamant that correct pump was fitted. Hy glo daar is n elektriese probleem. Dit lyk nie goed nie, ek moet die patrol rond sleep met my Ranger 3.0 diesel.

Engine cut-out

Hi guys

Bought a 4.5GRX early Jan. Whilst driving the other day the engine just died on me. Engine tries to run but just dies again as if not enough fuel.
Records show that a new fuel pump as well as relay fitted just before I bought it. Help,

Re: Fuel gauge always on

Hi there.

Hopefully this one is not too thirsty as it has been chipped. I mean the petrol needle do not go to empty when engine turned off. The gauge do register correctly otherwise.

Fuel gauge always on

Hi There

Just got myself a Patrol a while ago, but I notice the Fuel gauge stays on permanently.

I'ts a 98 4.5 GRX.

Is this a normal feature or is something wrong?
