Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

Hi Guys, On my GQ 60 td4.2, With engine running, gearbox in neutral, I can press the clutch and select 1st or 2nd gear no problem. goes into gear very easy.

Once on the move it will not change from 1st to 2nd or from 3rd to 2nd without double de clutching and getting the rpm's right - any ideas?

Many years back I had an issue getting it into second. There is a white nylon bush that wears out that I replaced. Got it from Nissan (can't recall the price) off hand,

But this solved my problem. It stiffened up the gear lever making the alignment going through the gears very smooth.
