My windscreen is leaking!

So...
I was out in very heavy rain today, about 45mins into the drive whilst constantly raining I noticed two single drops of water coming down onto the top of the dash - one on drivers side & one on passenger airbag side.
Only one or two drops & it did not continue once wiped away.
This has never happened before.
My windscreen is moertoe (cracked) & needs replacing, but no obvious signs of the screen surround or seal being mis-shapen or perished.
Are the windscreen trim surrounds available?
Another question is could this water be from the sunroof?

Commercial Auto Glass in Selby replaced my 2008 3.0TD's windscreen in 2016 for R1k.
This screen has never leaked, so I think they know what they are doing.

They do cause leaks. They (GU) have drain pipes that get blocked

Hallo
a few years ago I had a cracked window and thought it was due to a stone chip. when the glass people took out the old window, I found a big surprise.
The area where the glass is glued was badly rusted, very bad. The thing is, the car looked completely normal from the out side.
The car had to go to a panel beater for repairs, before the new glass could be fitted.
Recently I had the car resprayed and the front window had to be removed again.
The panel beater fitted a new window and new universal type window trim rubber.
I like this one better as it looks like it will not gather dirt and moisture like the standard Nissan one.

Thanks for the info!
Any chance you could post a pic or two of that universal trim please.

They sell that by the meter at Pro Auto Rubber

Cut the corners with a Stanley knife and glue it with superglue. Commercial Auto glass actually did that when I took the rubber I got from PAR along when I fitted a new screen to my Safari.

GU uses a glued in window - I don't believe a rubber will fit . if you removed the panel between the bonnet and window it could be your problem. a couple of the left side plastic thingy protrude into the cabin and if not sealed will leak - but normally only leaks on the passenger side.
my car does not have a hole in the roof so can't answer where the drain pipes goto but don' think they will leak droplet but streams if blocked
got a new trim in 2020 and the trim was the same price as the windscreen (1750trim + 1750windscreen) , did an emergency replacement on the 27th of December (only windscreen) and it was 1950 - probably paid more as not a lot of places were open.

Yeah on the GU there are little (I think orange in colour) plastic supports that keep the window in place. last time i did my windscreen i had to get new ones, as the old ones were broken and my windscreen leaked. since replacing them, it's as dry as can be. My windscreen guy sorted everything out for me on mine, but did it through the insurance.
