Our one patrol came with Duellers close to 2010. I popped rear 2 of those tires about 2 years back on hot days.

As bad luck would have, my one Maxxi picked up a 10cm threaded bolt puncture on Friday and today I put the spare on. Loaded that for tire shop 2morrow, and finally also the one Dueller to be taken off rim.

So I coincidently looked at the Duellers date stamp....2001 . I'll go double check because I didnt believe my eyes, but I'm pretty sure.

Update: Yep, confirmed. Pics below. Now,not same tread as 50/50 on/off road like Maxxi Bravo or Dunlop GrandTrek 3...but still pretty impressive...and wife's car = probably zero tire rotation. And this car lives outside.

Howzit Gents.

I got my Michelin LTX's pushed to around 18 years. Have a number that seems to indicate they are from 2003. But yesterday one of them decided to start letting air through the cracks that have developed on the side walls. Tread still looks very usable, but unfortunately, without air, I'm stuck.

Hate to ask like this, but is there anybody in Cape/West coast area that has maybe done an upgrade that has an old set of boots they are willing to let go that I can get a few months and kilos out of. Size I am looking for 33x12.5,R15. I could even make a 35x12.5,R15 work if needed.

I only see about 30km of tar road every two to three weeks. Rest of the time I'm in soft sand on a farm in low range, so these tyres do not have to be fancy in any way.
