Guys as most of you know i was at inhasorro for holiday .
At lulas paradise lodge to be more spesific .
They have partners that stay in sa and have a 4.8 grx that they use for there .
Bd point can only be recessed via a 36 km
Beach drive form inhassoro and only 2 hours after and before low tide ...you dive in the sea so to speak ....
They have had the car there for 4 years and it didn't want to go ....fuel was coming from the back ...
The owner was busy dropping the tank when i showed him the hatch at the back to get access from the top ...what did i find 😔😔😔😔😔
The long range tank has a higher side than the normal tank about the sam as a 2l ice cream tub so that the pump and sender can go to the correct height from the bottom .
The bowl gets filled with sea sand and there is no way its going to clean itself like on the normal tank . I had to dig it out from the top with a small spade and a vacuum cleaner ..
Needles to sy pipes rusted holes in and the patrol is not going . Sending spares up so of you have a aftermarket tank please have a look because it might bite you in the butt After some mud and salt got in there but cant get out ...
