13l/100 on one trip and then 10l/100 on the next trip. never ever. I will bet my Patrol that that is bollocks.
Theres something wrong with either his calcs, or his odo.

Bear in mind that they have a 110Km/h speed limit, from what I gather when reading the Aussie threads
That will make a HUGE difference

hahaha.... not if he wants 10L/100Km consumption.....hahaha
I may be wrong on the speed limit though, but they always talk about 110Km/h

Even at 100km / h there's no way i'll get to 6 km/l. I drive a 4.8 and I get 4.8, maybe 5 km/l but no better!!

I am new to 4.8, and my patrol is stock standard, apart from the roof rack. I did get 6 Km/L driving between 120 to 125. But not less than 5.5, even when towing a trailer (Venter off roader).
Never...ever...I managed to get 7km/l..

tyre size and type also play a big roll in consumption
