If I go into the website, my VIN number brings up the following message:
Dear customer,
We have noticed that you are one of the few people affected by the Takata recall.
Please take your Patrol to your nearest dealer today and we'll carry out the necessary replacement at no cost to you.
Please contact *0800 NISSAN (647726) for more information on Voluntary Recall Campaign.
I took the vehicle to Bruma Nissan, my nearest dealer and they went into their system and the get the message that there are "No outstanding issues on your vehicle" when the check on my VIN number.
I then phone the number 0800 NISSAN and they also say that there is no recall outstanding on my VIN!!
WTF????

Same issue with me Malcolm, and now the dealer wants me to take a photo of the VIN number inside the door and they'll send it Nissan SA for clarification.
We will see next week...
