Maybe I should have a look at the seat covers, Uthuli can just make the missing one if I want to.....??
Rudgar is there now to have one made for his NP300

Hi Dirk,
A bit late. Steyn has asked for them already. Sorry about that, but how is the Patrol going ?

No problem, will replace the current one's in the future.
Still running like clockwork, after sorting out the suspension I am a happy chappy.
Just the brakes that is just not what it should be.
Had the rear diff flushed twice now and grip seems to be improving.
Busy fitting a second fuel tank at this moment for the upcoming Bots trip.
Can you maybe remember the last time you had the Injectors tested?

Hi Dirk,
I replaced the tips every year but not sure when the last time was . They are not expensive and it is worth checking. Brakes were never very good with all the weight that was added. Graham fitted new booster just before you bought it and I had power brake disks and pads fitted but alas still not great. Must be the weight of the car and the small discs and calipers. Looked at after market but would cost more than the Patrol. Then also had the cost of custom brakes for the calipers.
More fuel- how big a tank do you want to add ?
Rear diff has same LSD as the Navars's. if you want to repair. Never got stuck so no need to have lockers fitted.
Enjoy

Adding a Patrol sub tank so that should be between 34 and 40L additional to the current 120. I should then be able to leave the jerry's at home with 150+ L
Have not got that stuck yet, but a working LSD is better than nothing, and it is definitely better than before, might do the flush exercise with the Paraffin in the future.
Brakes is only gripe with the Patrol but will try fitting Terrain Tamer disks and callipers as one more and last try to see if it can get any better.

TX,
With the mileage I hope you get it working again.

Tx - already better after 2 x flush with LSD oil so the flush with paraffin should make it even better.
Did you by any chance upgrade the alternator or is it still the standard 70A one?
