This is the guy who had a 2005 4.8 GRX for sale, but price was too high & the vehicle had a questionable history.

You can see the 4.8 parts & extras he transplanted onto the 4.2 diesel.

I wonder why he is selling... he has only had the diesel for about a year now...

But that is very expensive for a non tubo I assume.
The link to the drawer system soes not look to bad, but still.
Even thou I know the effort that goes into building boxes and brackets. But I know some things are only worth doing for your own vehicle.

Graham, there is a nice one in Vredenburg as well, I believe for a better price so put your wallet back for a moment! It's a 2000 model, burgundy color. Just spoke to the owner, he is on the forum and will post some pics and details later today

The price is all over the place on that Patrol, a few days ago it was advertised for R115K??? I smell something fishey!!

Yip, I noticed that too...

I dont think its a scam, but I know that he couldnt get his asking price on the 4.8 hence the parts swop. He ended up trading the 4.8 in at a dealer, so he is most likely trying everything possible to recoupe the loss.

In any event the price is too high for a non turbo, extras or not.

That is my opinion.

Interesting. Thanks for the comments guys. I don't know anything about these 4.2 gu's, but I am taking a sudden liking to them I must say.
