Securetech is definitively the way to go. They may cost a few and more than other no name brands, but worth the piece of mind when you are trying to recover a HUGE weight like a Patrol or Cruiser. They also give brilliant guarantees on their products, and will always look after you if a strap has any issue. They have assisted the Nissan Club when we did recovery training to demonstrate where to be careful and how to use the recovery gear properly. Have a look on their website for their products that will work for what you want. I'm not sure if Makro and places like that will have the heavier rated straps etc.

Here is their website....

Look at this one too....sister company....

and this one too

I have had my recovery lit for about 10 years now and it still looks perfect and has been used quite a few times pulling taxis out of the thick sand in Mozambique.

Michael Green is the owner of Securetech and I can definitively vouch for their products.

Remember that if you do a recovery with unrated straps or shackles and something goes wrong, you could be held responsible.
