Has anybody tried this mod??

I must say the torque converter unlocking before the decision to accelerate has actually reached your foot is rather annoying. So if it is not too complicated to DIY I would definitely be keen

JP, any chance you have that picture on the thread? I can't remember my password for the auzzie site and before I go through the whole story....

But what could possibly go wrong with this mod? And I mean that genuinely, I want to know before I even consider it.

Sorry I somehow thought I'd replied and now see I didn't.

I have not tried it yet, but not because I don't want to

I have to find out first why the beast can't keep a steady speed when setting it in cruise control. It keeps hunting gears when cruise control is set and can't seem to settle at a speed regardless of how fast and flat the road is. My final goal would be this mod, together with the manual mode mod so I can do longer trips without 'crampy ankle syndrome'.

Has anyone else tried it yet?
