Looking for a seriously capable 4x4 then you can't go wrong with a Nissan Patrol. The power behind this petrol engine is phenomenal (190kW @ 4800RPM, 420Nm @ 3600RPM) and you can literally go anywhere with it as a standard vehicle due to it's impressive ground clearance, roll-over, approach, departure and break-over angles and low range gearing (before any modifications are done).
In South Africa this vehicle is well priced and seriously under-rated as a capable 4x4 and an overlanding vehicle, but is prized all over Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Australia as a favourite by the Military and offroad enthusiasts alike.
