Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

An old leaking manifold gave me an excuse to get a branch for my 4.5.

Abel at Viper did a great job as usual and the ceramic coating inside and out has made a big difference in under bonnet heat.(It also sounds great)

After fitting the branch I quickly visited SAC in boksburg for a dyno run. It needed some tweaking and after 40 minutes I was going home with a smile.
Definite increase in torque and power. Will see what the consumption does.

While I was there , Leon mentioned that he has a friend overseas that has a very nice 4.5 Gu for sale that is in lockup in Johannesburg.
I remember he mentioned R120k and that the vehicle is in very good nick. Contact Leon at Steves auto clinic in Boksburg.

It looks all shiny and new and with the ceramic coating mine still looks shiny and new a year later.

Abel's service is hard to better and he has done my Patrol, SWAMBO's Jimny and my boss's Prado V6.

As for under bonnet temperatures you can actually touch those branches after a long run. Just don't grab them. And lower temperatures = more power.
