Wanted: Double filler neck

Looking for a double/dual filler neck like originally fitted in the models with sub tank.
I have an Y61 2003 4.8 without sub tank and now I have to weld my own one. But it would be great if someone has a scratchyard with a Patrol with this part.
Otherwise I have to buy an aftermarket filler neck and fit it in my existing single filler neck plate.

Does anyone have one?

Thanks in advance
Jens

Do you maybe have an email address from David?
I would like to send him some pics what I need exactly.

Otherwise I will just phone him. Where is he located in SA?
Thank you so much for your help!

And yes, even in Namibia there are a few Patrols :blonde:

Thanks
jens

Good Morning,

you are GREAT

The original subtank with 32 litres is too small, due to the thirst of the 4.8s I need more for trips to the remote areas in Namibia/Botswana.
And I do not want to put more than 4x 20l jerry cans on the roof carrier.

We will see

Jens, unless you get very creative with an extension that goes over the prop-shaft, the biggest sub-tank you can fit is around 55-60l.

I am not sure it's worth the trouble, depending on how much more a custom tank will cost than the standard one?

No Just too much SlaapStad air, standard tanks are 90L and 35L making a total of 125L as far as I understand
