I think it will fit. The legs are adjustable, and that crane carrier holding thingy ( not sure what its called ) is a brilliant thing to have. I have mine fixed to the rafters in my garage with my roof top tent and everything attached ready to just lower onto the roof of the Patrol when needed

Be careful when you use the Fredlin hoist, especially if you have weight on it like roofrack with a tent or jerry cans attached.
The safest is to secure the roofrack to the rafters as well.
My brother in law had the misfortune of the straps breaking and the roofrack fell on his motorbikes.

Interesting.... thanks Johan.
How much weight did he have hanging there.....

.... the straps on mine are like car seat belt materia ( this material should be able to manage huge amounts of tensional force ( shock loads for when used on car seat belts )). I would guess the total weight I have on there is around 100Kg. Divide that by 4 giving 25 odd kg per strap. If I recall the max weight load is 110Kg or 130Kg. I can't recall exactly now, but I know mine is probably sitting close to the max. I'll do a little investigating.....

Interesting, mine takes the loooong roof rack with a double rooftop tent which on its own is just under a 100kg so I am definitely exceeding 100kg's - to date no problems but rather safe than sorry....
