Soos k inni anner draad gemeld het, van die 4 Uitreike wat nog vir die jaar oor is, is twee darem kort een of twee dag geleenthede en is dit op kiddies gerig.

Ons wil weer graag vanjaar 'n KERSBOOM aanbied vir die vigs wesies van Rietfontein [dis nou die gehuggie doerrrr tussen Vaalwater en Groblersbrug]

Die datum is vasgestel vir Saterdag 28 NOVEMEBER
Ons sal die Vrydag namiddag soontoe vertrek. Koedoes Rand Gemeente voorsien vir ons die slaapplek, Saterdag oggend vroeg vroeg verpak ons al 120 geskenk pakkies .. en dan, vanaf 11:00 is dit daai 120 weggooi kindertjies se beurt vir n tydjie "lekkerte" .. en geskenkies ontvang..

Wat is nodig??

120 Kersgeskenke [Ouderdomme is 6 tot 15 jaar]
120 "pen en potlood stelle"
120 Skool tassies [100 Laer skool, 20 Hoër skool]
en, les bes as ons dit kan bybring, 120 t-hempies .. Bloues [so amper Bulle blou ]

Koeldrank vir hulle deur die dag
Lekkergoed
Chips
Wat kan jy nog aan dink ??

Op die foto kan jy sien wat ons laasjaar vir hulle kon aanbied: n NUWE sport sak, Nuwe sport broeke [PT Shorts] nuwe T hempie, elkeen eie speelding, elkeen n eie Bybel.
En natuurlik, ons het helpers nodig om die dag n sukses te maak.

Bless an Orphan this Christmas

The year is nearing it’s end at a rapid pace. Everyone is looking forward to Christmas, to be with family and friends, catching a rest at the end of a hectic year.
The mad mad rush to get the Christmas shopping done [before the real rush starts ]

The children are most excited .. What will be under the X-mas tree this year? What is father Krismis going to bring them?

But at Rietfontein village, between Ellisras [Lephalale] and Groblers Brug / Martins drift border post, there are 120 Orphans. With no family to take care of them, Department of Welfare placed them with strangers, albeit starngers willing to take in orphans, at Rietfontein.

In 2014 we managed to treat them with X Mas Tree “party”. With gifts and treats and an own Bible.

Now we have a dream to do it again. A dream to make Christmas 2015, special for the Rietfontein Orphans. We cannot do it without your help and assitance.

We now have set aside a date with them, 28 November.

What do we need to make this a success?
For starters, we need a team to help.
‘Making’ a Tree;
Wrapping gifts;
Transporting gifts from here tot here
Find sponsors and donors for the presents and treats [sweets, cold drinks, chips, and a BIG lunch]
Who wants to be the “father krismis” ? 
We are asking [begging] for 4 teenagers / univarsity students to present the “Puppet” show of the Cristmas story [I have the puppets .. we need the actors  ]

What do we have in mind for the presents?
A pen set for school. [each according to their grade]
A NEW school bag for each kid
.. and a T-shirt or Golf shirt for each [we have their names and clothing sizes ..
and won’t it be neat if Father X mas arrives on a big red truck ?
and won’t it be extra special if each can receive a soft toy as well ?

A few picts from 2014 Rietfontein Orphans X-Mas Tree: ]sorry, still dont come right with posting a pict here :-( The seniors group of the Orphans .. receiving us with a dance “ènsamble” Packing the presents in NEW Sports bags. new T-shirt; new shorts; new toy; Sweets; Soda; and new NIV Bible ‘Making” a Bosveld tree an X mas tree ... and then ‘father krismas’ arrives !!!

And the joy and amazement on those little faces .. Costs you ask ?? PRICELESS ..

It is close on 400 Km from Paretoria.
Koedoes Rand congregation arranges accommodation for the helpers. [Friaday and Saturday night]
We need to depart Pretoria on Friday 27 Nov [approx 14:00 Pm]
